Medwise Safety

The training of Guides and Rangers is a passion for me, my lifelong love for conservation and a background in Emergency Services saw me start up MedWise Safety Services in 2009, with a goal to offer specialist training and consulting to the Field Guiding
industry as well as all conservation services. My passion for teaching became my new career; I’m a qualified American Heart Association Core Instructor in Basic Life Support and Emergency Cardiac Care as well as a First Aid Instructor. I am a qualified
Medic and am registered with the HPCSA. I have worked on both government and private ambulances as well as on the Incident Management Units. I completed my training as an Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Officer and am registered with SAIOSH as
a Technical Member. I have been a Horary Officer with KZN Wildlife and currently assist with a business conducting a workshop on environmental law, wildlife crime scenes management and arrest procedures. A retired Game Rangers words have guided my
life, “Many live off conservation, only a few live for it” – Doug Lang
